“Sometimes You have To Threaten Suicide To Sell An Ad” - George Lois

In this five minute short, Lois lends his insight to young people in regards to the creative process. Damn Good Advice (For People With Talent) is Lois’ latest book and reveals many of the lessons Lois’ learned through his experiences as an art director and ad man. Highlighting the importance of always being outrageous, while also detailing his thoughts on the sources of creativity, Lois’ wisdom shines through in this video, and even more so in his book.

Never heard of George Lois before but this dude surely has marched to his own beat his whole life.  Which to me usually says something about someone who is a creative mind. With the way this man caries himself and seems to have a “I don’t really give a fuck what you think” mentality he sure sold me on this book of his.  You especially got to love how in the title of the book he’s sure to add (For Those Who Have Talent).
